The EMT Internship Course is designed to deliver an advanced curriculum in a stress-free, informal environment, focusing on enhancing self-assurance and confidence building in the next part of your EMS Education. In addition to topics covered, students will be required to complete 144 hours of ALS Ambulance ride-alongs at our Fire Department Clinical Sites.

Description
The EMT Internship Course is designed to deliver an advanced curriculum in a stress-free, informal environment, focusing on enhancing self-assurance. Topics include:
- Anatomy & Physiology
- Airway
- Cardiology
- Pharmacology / Medic Math
- EKGs / Treatments
Attendance: Mandatory attendance to all sessions, including the 100 hours of field internship (ambulance)
Course Length: 8 weeks total
Course Schedule: Mondays, 9:00 am – 2:00 pm.
Course Completion: Students who complete the Paramedic Prep course will earn a Certificate of Course Completion and 40 CEUs.
