What does this accreditation mean to Respond Right EMS Academy and its students?

The primary purpose of program accreditation is to protect students and the public. The State’s accreditation process emphasizes quality assurance, competency validation, and program credibility. Additionally, it promotes consistency in education processes and sets minimum standards for program elements.  This ensures Training Entities gain the recognition and respect of employers and the public. Accreditation is achieved by providing an independent, external, and objective peer review of institutional quality in comparison to accepted national standards, namely the National Registry of EMTs. These practices help to protect the students’ investment in their education by ensuring they graduate from a quality program and that instructors possess the necessary qualifications to teach and hold the required academic credentials.

Our goal is to prepare competent entry-level EMTs in the cognitive (knowledge), psychomotor (skills), and affective (behavior) learning domains.
